01) I have read at some web site that it is a good thing to pre-heat wood laminations before glue-up to improve the gluing or bonding process but at the same time heard it’s not a good thing to do this.
So I was wondering whether they say not to pre-heat the lams before glue up because they might warp due to its thin profile.
So which of the 2 tips are correct? What’s your opinion?
02) I have heard smooth-on is a very good epoxy for bow making but wish to know whether it works well for both for wood-wood and wood-Fiberglass gluing. I’v heard its pretty good for Wood-wood
If its only good for Wood-Wood then what’s good for Wood-fiberglass? Does this mean I have to use 2 separate glues for making a glass and wood laminated bow? Or can I use just Smooth-on?
Thanks in Advance for your reply
Cheers
