Dumb mistake

My impatientence did me in last night!!!  :scared:    :smileystooges:  
Could'nt sleep at all.AAAAAAAAggghhhh  :mad:  

All better now after the vent!! Thought it was only right to share my failures along with the triumphs of bow building!!LOL

Gonna hang this one above my shop door to remind me to be patient!!!!!!! Ill make some smartelic sign to go with it!! LOL

Came home tonight and glued up 5 risers!!
 

 
At least I think I can go right back and hit 60lbs!! so it wasnt a total loss.

The best tools a bowyer, wood or glass, can have in his kit is patience and concentration.  The rewards can be great when using these tools but very discouraging and disappointing when not. I learned this the hard way like many others have. These kind of lessons usually stick with us.

Been there and done that.  It worked out though.
I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!
