Which glues for phenolic tips?

I used smooth-on to do my lams, got good glue lines. Now I'm ready to put on Phenolic on the nock tips, and have read some boyers are useing 5 minute epoxy. If I use smooth-on, I'm sure I should put some heat to the tips also? What about the riser section on the front of the bow? I'm thinking about a 1/4" slab of bubinga to round out the profile of the bow. 5 minute of smooth-on? Thanks for the time to help me, I'm learning! Biff

Since I started to use smooth-on, I use it for all the overlays as well.  I use drop lights to get some heat to them.  A meat thermometer placed right beside your overlay will help to monitor the heat.  Make sure you stay below the temp you cooked the bow.

For the last 5 bows I built I have been using Devcon 5 minute epoxy for my tip overlays as well as any other items glued on after it gets out of the oven (i.e. riser overlay's). This method has not failed me as of yet and the best thing about it is you can get back to work on the bow in 1 hour.  

When I built my first bow I used phenolic tip overlays and I used Super Glue (Gorilla Glue brand..i forget the name but it is the best kind Gorrilla makes and remains somewhat flexible).  This worked great as well.
