ok well here are the pics....
like i said, i have changed the idea alot over the past day or so, i will make my first idea in a few weeks but i figured i needed a more hunting capable quiver in this case, so here is what i have after about 3 hours of work...
here is the skin i started with,
and here is what i got out of it when i was done, its 54" X 5".
there wasent enough (good) leather on the side flaps for me to make the actual quiver so im going to make some pouches exc...
i ended up makeing the quiver out of a gemsbuck flank pices but its about 1/2-1/3" thick depending on where your checking so its basicaly perfect for protecting the tips and fletching, i lines the inside bottom half with thick rabit fur to protect points though. 24" X 6-10" i cut the photo off a bit short but you get the idea,
im going to tray and find the time to finish it by saterday but who knows with my to do lists ha ha
