Indoor Range: Adapt, Improvise, Overcome
« on: February 05, 2008, 10:04:00 AM »
Due to the excellent weather we've been having this winter, we haven't been shooting together as much as we should.  A buddys fab shop solved that problem... First, the instructors took the range... They were helpful in pointing out our form flaws...

I built my own indoor range.

Piece of plywood like 6'X8' to cover the wall in case of a "rare" miss
An old big broken suitcase that I stuffed full of plastic bags and old cloths that don't fit my fat butt anymore and some cardboard for the front pockets to increase the rigidity of the whole thing.

It works out to about a 17 yard shot down the hallway. At least I can shoot where I live (in the middle of the Washington D.C./Baltimore metroplex without the locals freaking out. The cool thing is I can still watch TV while I'm shooting and my dog just sleeping in my recliner. Glad I could buy her such and expensive comfortable bed!

Greg

Adapt and overcome.
We should have shotguns for this kind of deal.

Frank your photography skills are amazing! It may well be that you are the first to capture the true essence of that urban warrior! Such intensity!!!!!!!!

So tell me...Did he have a roll with him or did he just cut his undies off again????      :archer:
