chechen and morado
« on: November 24, 2008, 10:51:00 AM »
I'm looking for some chechen and morado (Bolivian rosewood) 8/4 (2") thick or thicker, at least 2" wide, 24" long or longer.  My suppliers haven't been able to come through for me.  Any suggestions?

Chad.

I got some real nice Morado and Chechen from Chitswood.

 http://www.chitswood.com/

I did post a pic of the Morado over on huntingnet a few weeks ago when I got it.

Hope this helps.

They got te Morado, closed till monday. Im usually there once a week. I like to drop by and see if they have any good cut-offs I can pick up on the cheap! Usually they dont like to leave anything under 8 linear ft in the bins. Im a regular customer though, and they will cut 2-4 ft off a 10-12ft board. Ill 0see what they got and try and get you a pic.

Its at 2631 Jackson avenue. Its in an industrial area of N. Memphis. (Not the best area of town) They have a website with a directions map to check out. The list of the woods they have is not updated very often. They do run weekly specials. They have ALOT of inventory. I build custom furniture and other stuff for people and use them very often. Best selection of exotics in the area.
