Going from heavy draw to light...............

I have a Dryad glue-up I bought second hand from a T-ganger that just never got around to starting it.  I'd like to reduce the weight that it was originally intended for,around 60-65#s to the low 40s. I've progressed to the tillereing  phase and it looks to me like the limbs will be too thin if reduce it to the desired 40-45# draw.  Should I make the limbs a little more narrow as opposed to scraping the belly?

I would not reduce the limb width...just scrape the belly and round those facets...There really isnt much material difference between a 40# and a 60# bow...it will work just fine

Best of luck!...on the aside...i recently broke my dryad blank measuring the draw weight....dang it!
