Guitars, Quivers and Hillbilly Handiwork

Just made another Asbell type quiver from an old Bear, 8 arrow bow quiver. It's one of the old two post models. I used a guitar strap I had left over and it works perfectly. I also left the screw posts on the quiver in case I wanted to attach a pouch to it later-on. Two pieces of rawhide and a strap.

Hey George great. I have a Gretsch Country Gentleman 1965 that I bought new in 66, a Dean electric (like a strat).

Also 2 flat tops, one Yamaha and Gibson Humming Bird which was my dad's. It was bought in 1968 new, but it might be a year older.

Takemine electric acoustic cutaway, Ibanez electric acoustic cutaway, Fender strat...old Mann acoustic that I bought when I was 15, sounds like it is worth 10 times what I paid for it. (brass nuts fore and aft) and a couple nylon string classicals. I love those things a lot. Every one of them is just as comfortable at a traditional hunting camp as I am. My stuff gets used.

...Nice quiver. dual purpose, I like it!

Very nice George, I made one out of a Fox strap on bow quiver. I sewed some velcro onto a leather strap & attached that to the velcro wraparound straps on the quiver & I'm good to go. I use it quite a lot. Frank
