Bow Maintenance

Any suggestions on how to remove an old shelf rest. The old glue has really become a part of the bow. It was a self-sticking bear hair rest.

Also, any suggestions for chat sites that just deal in shooting traditional archery at targets, (indoor or outdoor) and not involving hunting?

try some goo-gone. great stuff.

use the goo-gone to get the sticky off, then clean up with rubbing alcohol to get the oily goo-gone off the bow.
