Hello from France everybody !
I need help to choose my next TD recurve bow
Between those what is the best for you ?
in 50#@28" and 60" long (no hunting with)

1 Black Widow PSA3
2 Cascade Night Hawk
3 Bear Kodiak TD
4 Morrison Cheyene
5 Blacktail Hunter TD

I know, the price is not the same, but not a prob
I just have to choose between those but, I never try them of course, it's a long way from France
Please, can you help me to choose ? thank a lot!!!

If it's in your way, move it.

The Whittler

I own and shoot a BW MA11 and love it,and I don't think I could find a better bow. Maybe almost as good but not better in my opinion.

I am sure others will be in to tell you about theirs, as we all have our favorites.

I think they are all great, it's just what ever you decided on. Good luck and have fun.

just a bit outside

If money isn't a problem, I'd go with the Morrison or the Blacktail. They hold there value exceptionally well and the shoot great too. I'd cut of my pinky toe just to have either. But, money is an issue for me.

We should have shotguns for this kind of deal.

Zipper SXT Recurve/LB 58" 47@27

If it was me # 2 & 3 would be off the list.I haven't tried a Morrison.I've tried Widow's and like them and I've tried a Blacktail that was nice.

I would have to pick the Widow if I couldn't try it first.I would think that any of the three bows left would be great quality but I would know for sure with the Widow.

Hmm that's a toughy   :readit:

I'd go with morrison or blacktail!

Have fun choosing!

I'm a widow fan, but i have shot a morrison and i liked it alot. I've never shot a black tail but i've heard good things about them.

How soon do you need the bow. Pretty big difference in wait times on what you have listed.

Don't really need it soon ....but I don't think about that !!!! ....it could be a big difference
It's very difficult to wait long long time for the " new and perfect" bow !! In France too héhéhé .
If somebody have a good idea for another nice bow, welcome (thats what I ear from my country )
The only thing that I realy need, is a deflex riser, and fast limbs ... But what I sure too, is that I don't know all US bowyers (It's a shame, I know lol)

TonyW

Five hundred dollars converts to 341 euros today.
If you don't need it soon, wait a little longer and buy two bows.

Have you considered a Border? A little closer to home & probably as good (if not better) than everything you've listed

The best recurve is either the Blacktail or the Black widow ...just my 2 cents , with Morrison 3rd...I love these 3 bows!!!!  :)

Morrison if you want speed.

Black Widow if you want all-around forgiveness and reasonable speed.

Don't know about the Blacktail, but hear good things.

I would pass on the Cascade and the Bear.

In my humble opinion if you want a recurve I would choose an Assenheimer, they are absolutley gorgeous and they shoot fantastic

Marblesonac

If you want a GREAT looking, great shooting bow at a reasonable price with a short to medium wait, look here:

Larry, ty for you'r pm, but your box is full
Robtatoo, I used 3 Border bows when I was young .
It was very good bows, but using on them carbon now, there is lot gluing probs and the grip to big .Another prob, in France, in a good archery, you can find Samick ....or Border, that's all .
Everybody shoot Samick young, and Border later lol . Dan, I don't find Assenheimer on my listing ?  and for Marblesonac, I just had a look yesterday on Roseoakcreations but never ear about in France ( but look very nice !)

try J.K. Chastain from WAPITI Archery,  www.worldclassbows.com  , reasonable prices and fast delivery and you can pick what you want. Although I am usually a longbow guy, I like my TD recurve. 20 shots and i am right back with it.
