I say to ask the specific bowyer this question.  I shoot a Dan Toelke Whip, and he recommended a 62" for my 29" draw.  I really liked it, but just had to try the 64" since I'm used to longer bows.  Lo and behold Dan was right (imagine that...lol) and I like the 62" better.  Can't explain it, just feels right...Mike

Yep what mooseman said. See what the bowyer recommends for your draw length. I have a 27" draw Doug at Turkey Creek says 62"s, Mark Horne's Traditionalist 64"s, Jim Reynolds ThunderStick Mag 56"s, Ron LaClair Super Shrew 58"s. See the difference?

As RC says the longer bow is more forgiving, it is also feels smoother to draw.

Depends a bit on your draw length as well.  Longer draw lengths generally need a longer bow.

I agree with RC and Lefty to a point.  The 64" I shot felt "mushy" (for lack of a better term) than the 62".  Like I said I can't explain it, just wasn't as nice...Mike
