limbcore help????????

I am ordering a new bow soon.
Some limbcore options will be, Red elm, zebra wood,yew, osage, or black lotus. Is there much difference or does the glass do most of the work? Advantages/ disadvantage? I have one bow now with Bamboo, and another with actionwood, both are very smooth. Thanks.

All are good.  

Red Elm is tried and true as it is in no telling how many thousands of bows out there right now.  Very light and consists of intertwined fibers.  

Can't beat the looks of Yew and it has proven itself as well.  

Glass and design what will determine how well your bow will shoot.  The Bowyer wouldn't use it if it wasn't good so pick what you like the looks of.  Chad

just started my first lam bow. it has red elm cores. and it seems to be very fast.it has .003 taper and pulls around 60lbs. no shops are open today, so i won't no what kind of speed she's pushing till tomorrow but i'll get back to you on that. kennym has some great lams. i don't know who you are getting yours from, but his are very reasonable as far as price, and they look even better.
