M.A.L. back quiver / arm guard

All I can say is WOW!

About 6 weeks ago I contacted Mike about making one of his 6" Hunter Quivers for me, with a pouch added. I explained to Mike that I would like the quiver to match the arm guard he had made for me a few months earlier. Mike explained the difficulty in matching a quiver with an arm guard he had made months ago, but promised to do his best.

A couple weeks later it dawned on me (yes, sometimes it takes a while for that light bulb to go on!) that rather than have Mike try to do the impossible, I should just order a new arm guard to match the quiver, and give my old one to my son. So, I emailed Mike and sent the payment for the arm guard on its way. Mike told me he was waiting on leather that was due to come in by the end of January.

Today I came home from work to find a box from Mike's Archery Leather tucked between the front door and the screen door. Here's what I found inside.

That is some beautiful leatherwork Mike.  Love the color combination.  Is that the 6" Hunter model with the Hunter Pouch attached?
