T/D Recurve build along

I like them. You do beautiful work, and make it look easy.  I am currently making a form for a 60" recurve like your two pictured above.  Myself and three of my students are planning on making a few bows from it.  Again I appreciate your work (and all of the Tradgangers out there who do buidalongs), it has encouraged me to give it a try.
I will keep an eye out for anything you post in the future, knowing that it will be noteworthy.  Thanks

that sure is a pretty bow! i really like the riser. i got a question though. how exactly does your wedge form work. it obviously does a good job. i'm just confused as to how you work it to do the job.

You will enjoy building the pronounced T/D- try a limb pad angle of 9 degrees vs the 11 on the plans- it is a nice bow even down to 62"- thanks for the info on the sander.

Eman, Regarding the sled.  I made the sled out of some plywood as you can see.  I made it to cut at an angle (similar to that of Bingham's wedges).  

Basically, I just cut 2 inch wide .375 thick pieces of wood, (about 8 1/4 long for this specific bow), tape them in the sled and slowly run then through a drum sander (performax 10-20).  I generally use a 36 grit belt and after 6-10 runs through when the tip is paper thin, you are done.
