Yes, a self bow is made from a single piece of wood from tip to tip. A bow that is joined in the handle is also considered a self bow as long as each half is a single piece of wood.

Thanks! It's a kids bow though.. And allready sold. Some more info and close-ups is all I'm able to give you   :)
