New Morrison----Man Law Observed!!!!
« on: February 07, 2008, 02:24:00 PM »
I just recieved my new Morrison Cheyenne, and all I can say is WOW!! Specs are A-riser with
C-limbs for a 58" bow. Riser is Macassar ebony with Kingwood flare, copperheads on the limbs. 50@27" with Bob's new foam core limbs. This bow is all I imagined and then some, smooth drawing, quiet, and oh so fast. For comparison, it's 8-10 fps faster than my Black Widow PGA at the same draw weight.

Here are a few pics

Beautiful bow! Once you shoot a Morrison that fits, all the rest become quickly fading memories.

Hey Allen... I guess it was worth the wait.  Looks SWEET...  Get her dialed in for Dixies shoot on the 16th.  Let's see if you can match that last score.  Congrates.   Jeff

Saw my first Cheyenne at the Solana hunt. One of the best looking recurves I've seen. Yours is also great looking bow. Congratulations on your purchase.    Enjoy.

Thanks guys, it really is a very nice bow.

Hey Nook, doesn't look like it will take much time to get this one ready. I'll be ready for Dixie in a couple weekends.

So, how do you like those foam core limbs compared to actionboo?  Is there a noticeable difference? I am ordering another set of limbs for a Cheyenne.
Beautiful combo of wood! I like the pine cone on the grip too. Just mailed my riser back to Bob to have that put on it. He told me he has a lady that now does the carving and she does it better than he can do it. He sounded real busy!

Just spoke with Bob. He said the foam core are 7-8fps faster than the actionboo and quieter....he had a set that were just the poundage and length I was going to order...so I bought them! See what happens when you put a post on here about new bows and put up pictures!   lol

Got my new foam core Arapho's last week but I had some customizing doen to my Shawnee riser. It pays to live close to Bob, although my wife don't think so!LOL. I can't wait to shoot the foam core. Beautiful bow A.S. Good thing it was the dummy side of the bow or I may have walked out of Bobs with it. I think I saw it there last week.

Snag, get your check book out, I'll show pics next week.

Hey Snag, I've only shot one other Morrison-it was a Shawnee. I can say without a doubt that this is the nicest bow I have ever shot (and I've shot a bunch of 'em). The limbs are unbelievable! Very very quiet and no vibration after the shot.

Now I just have to get my new arrows fletched up for it and get her tuned in.

Also, for all you Morrison shooters, does the pinecone eventually smooth out some? I must have girly hands! I slipped a light glove on my bow hand and it's feeling pretty good. I'm sure in time I will get used to it.
