Brackenbury Quest, I have a great brother!
« on: February 07, 2008, 05:40:00 PM »
Bill had this in stock and I wanted it bad. Talked to Bubba and he agreed to float me a loan. So after bugging Bill for a week, It is mine. I am a very happy camper, 62",64#@28",Cathedrial grain zebrawood vaneers and riser with ebony and maple stripe, combination of wenge and walnut custom cores. Gonna have Bill ship it to Georgia for me so I can maybe kill a few pigs while I am there. I love my brother!

That's a beauty!  Bill makes a fine bow!

Looking at that "in-stock" page can be hazardous to your wallet.

I got this one from in stock:

Brand new Non-typical.  58# @ 28" 62" (with a carbon layer in the limbs)
Waiting time 5 days

Danny, you and that brother of yours have given the majority of the rest of us here a permanent case of bow envy!!! When I see either of you post I hurry up to click on the thread and it is a little like when I was just a young lad anticipating opening up a girly magazine!!! It sure is fun and amazing to check out the next bow you fellas buy. Many of us out here are living vicariously through the two of you so make sure to keep up the good work!!! Oh by the way, beautiful bow again!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

They are great bows Danny and congrat's.  I have always wanted a non-typ - I think they are one of the most awesome looking three piece bows out there.

However it is unfortunate they only come in Dymondwood riser.  I don't want to pay 900 bucks for Dymondwood.  However I guess he has to make the riser with this material to get the strength.

Do you shoot Lonbows as well Danny or are you strictly a recureve man??

Not true...

The "standard" NT has a dymondwood riser (also true for the Quest) but is available with "custom options".

You can choose just about any wood you like for your riser.

I thought you just got a brand new Morrison!  I guess that was December, it's a couple months old.
