Osage D bow tiller

I have been working on this D bow for a few weeks now.  I am nearing 50# @ 28" wich is my goal.  How does the tiller look?  It seems the left limb is bending a bit more than the right now that I am looking at the picture.  Thanks for any help.

Overall it looks pretty good. The left tip does move further than the right, but it's outer limb seems stiffer. The right limb has a few flat spots, and a hingy area toward the outer limb. The bow must have some character.

Have you flipped the bow around and looked at the tiller from the other side? Sometimes a character bow can throw you a curve when you flip it. I would shoot it a few times and then check it again. Keep the stiff limb on the bottom.

I haven't flipped it yet.  It kind of does a little dipsy-doo in the handle area of the bow.  I have to put a small piece of wood under one side just to make it flat.  I'll try to post some unstrung pictures.

Good. It does have too much of the handle bending so you may feel a bit of a shock. I don't think you can fix that on this one because you have some areas bending close to max just off the handle. Jawge
