The 60" all boo bow finished at 52@28. It would have finished around 46@28 if 62" long. She had a total stack of .377 with .040 glass.
The 62" all hickory bow finished at 57@28. She had a total stack of .400 with .040 glass.
Both had 17" risers.
Chrony testing results: hand drawn to 28", using a finger release, and shooting a 10 grain per pound arrow yielded the following speeds.
All boo: 170 fps
All hickory 175 fps
They both came off the same form though, so the longer bow has slightly more net reflex. I figure the net gain for hickory over boo to be somewhere around 3 fps.
Shot out of a machine, with a mech release, and smaller diameter string, I can see 185 from this bow. It's right up there with some great performers. As a comparison, my 54" 55# Howatt Hi-speed (one of the fastest), clocks at 170 under the same conditions. My 55# Grizzly shoots 156! I'm happy.
The hickory bow is the smoothest shooting bow I have made. I normally shoot 48# bows and this one didn't feel much heavier on the draw. It definitely feels lighter than my 55# (scaled) Bear Grizzly.
