Some folk may recall my recent search for a top line bow. With the gleanings from that search I ordered a Centaur from Jim. However that has over a year wait
I then had the latitude in my budget to order a short wait project bow. From much research I decided on the Fox Royal/Triple Crown! I really like that Recurve/grip style longbow. Ron can make it with a high wrist grip. It looks very stable, smooth and apparantly has fit and finish second to none.
The exchange rate for Australian/US Dollar is at a 40 year high - now is the time to buy some bows. I paid all the money to Ron - so all systems are go.
I have a little while to wait before I decide on which bow (he can't build it for a few months).
- hence my question.
Which one to order - the Royal Crown or the Triple Crown. Being in Auss I can't shoot either so I need feedback form those who have shot both.
I have only seen two of these for sale on T/G so they must be keepers.
My good archery mate in Australia reckons he does not like the look of the riser on the Royal Crown (it has one of those reverse style risers). However I think the Royal is a bit faster than the Triple. I need that extra speed cause I only shoot 42# and we have some big Hogs over here.
The Triple strings up with a D shape - the Royal does not. However that does not concern me. I just want the most stable, fast platform to shoot from.
Which bow boys and girls???
