Hey all,
I don't want to hijack this thread, but I've been looking for form plans for a R/D bow.
Does anyone have the plans in electronic format that I could "poach" so I can try building one of these myself.
Thx.

Well it looks like I'll keep this one at 64"- I still haven't put it on a scale but I like the way it feels. I also have another riser glued up so I will adjust the poundage on the next one if need be. Got all the overlays glued on and hope to cut out the sight window tonight and start shaping.

I laid out the site window and cut it out- It will end up being cut to center with a radius.

This is after a little shaping-still more to do but I should get enough done tonight to at least shoot a few test arrows before it gets dark.

Kenny- I did get to shoot it some tonight. I still haven't scaled the bow yet but it will be around the mid 40#s and I was suprised at how it performed. It zipped the arrows in there and was quiet- this will be a good bow that I'll be able to shoot all day. There is still plenty of sanding to do and then put the finish on- the zebra and leopard woods do look good together.

Sweet!! What is your draw length in the pic? Looks optimum!!
Probably could get 3 more inches before 90 degrees on string/limb tho!!

Kenny- I am drawing it 28"s in that picture- it looks like it will finish at 42#s. This is one of the easiest to shoot bows I have made. I'll start on the finish tonight and should be done in a couple of days and have some final pictures.

So I'm dangerously close to being done- just need to let the finish cure before I string it up and get the rest on it- here are some pictures with the finish on. It came out 42#@28" and 64".
