Ancient Spirits Archery

Anybody know their hours or if they're still taking orders? I've called a couple of times this week at various times of the day and just get an answering machine. I've left a message and sent email to the address listed on the site with no response. Any info would be appreciated.

You might want to read the post on the leather wall before you call them again. See what carphunter100 said.

JD's personal email is  [email protected]

I'd email him and get him to give you a call. Hope this helps.

I will go on and post it here. I talked to J.D. at the NC state shoot 07 and told him I wanted him to build me a bow, but I was not going to order it until I sold one that I had. He took down my info. on what I wanted and priced it to me. He filled out the paper work and told me when I sold my bow just send in the paper with the down payment. 2 weeks latter in June of 2007 I ordered a bow from J.D. and sent him $500.00 that I had got for the bow I had sold. He told me a few month, I said no problem. On Dec. 21,2007 J.D. e-mailed me and said my bow was finished and to send him the final payment. On Dec. 22,2007 I sent him the final $150.00 and the checked cleared my bank Jan.7,2008. He also e-mailed me on Jan.7,2008 and told me he was going to ship it that day. As of today I have not got my bow yet or my money back. I have e-mailed J.D. several times and have called him several times. J.D. HAS NOT AND WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS OR MY E-MAIL. Before he got my final payment he would answer calls and e-mails all of them. Its now turned over to the Att. General of WV now. If I were you I would think long and hard befor ordering anything from J.D. I no weather I ever get my bow or money J.D. has got his last nickle from Lonnie Sneed from Princeton WV. I was going to keep this to myself but you people asked and this is the truth.

Wow. I had met JD at a Bowhunter Education course last year and got his card. I'd read nothing but good things about their bows so I picked up a Kadiak on this site and really liked the way it shot. I wanted to order a Mt. Ash longbow but figured I would try to go down there to order it, get measured and do it right. Don't know if that's such a good idea now. I do appreciate the information.

Read some posts on another site. Seems to be some good and bad. If JD checks this site, I'd like to hear what he has to say. Carphunter100 probably would too.

Looks like the become a bowyer and get rich plan did not work. Hearing nothing good on this one. Taking customers money and not delivering is a crime, lets hope justice catches up.

Lonnie,

Ouch!  Sorry about what's going on.

The good news?  Well, a small crack (not critical) developed on the Mt. Ash, so I sent it back to "Big Tracy" in November.  Although Tracy doesn't get on the computer much... he still answered the emails I sent (within about 2-4 days, and that's fine by me) and he promptly replied to the phone call I made.

I can't speak for what's happening with JD, but I would do business with Tracy.

GOD Bless,
David

AS has been struggling ever since Tracey Tricket left.
