Osage bow/ Just finished
« on: August 08, 2009, 04:31:00 PM »
I finished this bow up today. 64",50#@28. Backed w/Eastern Diamondback and put a John Strunk style laced grip and Beavertail rest/sideplate on it. Brushed on Poly on the skins and Tru-Oil on the belly.

Very nice!! Tiller is excellent, I think John would approve of the handle wrap.

I know, I gotta pay my dues.  I am at the point now where I can get a perfect tiller (for a little whie) and it changes after being shot in.

This is an example of a beautiful tiller.

Yes Big Country my wife is a great gal! She has to be to put up with me for 37 years!!! I hope I don't come off as a show off. I'm really proud of those bucks on the wall. I remember each hunt and the bows that took them. Kendall
