They broke the mold when they made Timo.  Gifted in all manner of craft, and generous, humble and unassuming.  He's a fine, fine man.  Bows-n-arras will come and go, but the greatest treasure of my experiences in this craft are to have met such men.

Other than swappin' I'm not sure how one would get a bow from him.  He gifted me some "century" wood one MoJam so I fetched him a wretched piece of knarly elm from my booger woods and he returned it to me finely crafted into a bow.  Wish I had a pic to show.

Paleo Planet or Primitive Archer.

DCM - Did he make 2 bows from that elm? He had one at MOJam this year that my wife kept eyeing all weekend. He was going to let her shoot it, but he didn't have a string for it. I still have my Tollhouse stave from him. I've been mulling over the design for quite some time now.
  :banghead:

Dano - That Southwestern bowsock looks familiar! Emily is going to shoot that little bow this weekend. (she calls it her bow now)
p.s. She is going after Fall turkey this year with it.

Tom,

I'm much enamoured with elm and so have brought some to Mojam several times.  He was the only taker last time.  But I think I recall he may have actually cut himself some elm as well.  So I'm not sure whether what you saw was from Misssssippi or Misory.

Dano I got a stick with your name on it bud.  I think Timo is threatening to come to Tennessee this spring, to the big Pappy gathering.  I know it's a long haul from Vegus, but we'd love to have you.  Not sure if I'll do MoJam in the summer or not.  But when you get a hankerin' to put the blade to elm hollar.  I'll send a rider if nothin' else.
