Not the best place to air dirty laundry but wondering how the Australian hunters unwritten code of ethics translates in the States
2 of my mates and I spent a weekend about 6 years ago and found ourselves a landowner that was good enough to allow us to hunt on his 13 000 acres for $25.00 a night , he did stipulate he does not want us to bring too many others just one or two guests every now and then and only the 3 of us can come back regularly.
Paying to hunt is relativly new to Australia but we are happy too pay to camp in the old homestead and hunt Goats and Pigs , there are rare Rabbits and foxes , Fallow Deer and the occasional wild dog .
We took a so called good mate of ours out there about 3 years ago and introduced him to Traditional Bowhunting . Recently he has got the landowners phone number by deception and began booking hunts without us .
This mate ? has not ever tried to find another property to hunt on , booked a hunt with a guide - nothing but use us . What do you fella's think .
