near the riser of a one piece wood and glass Supermag 48-
These stress cracks do not look bad, to start with. 1-2 inches long, not into the limbs, but are on the glass, top and bottom. I cannot put my finger nail into them, and they don't seem to be growing. I really have a gut feeling that they may stay this way for as long as I keep the bow-if I so desired to leave them.
After the season is over-I would like to refinish/repair these if possible.
I have read loc-tite 420 and super glue to fill these spots, but am not quite sure of the process of application, that will leave my bow looking nice.
If there is a topic already posted, please guide me there. if not, can someone take a few moments and answer some questions.
Do I sand the area in question, or the whole limb?
Clean next?
Apply filling material next? How many applications?
Sand next?
Reapply polyurethane or some other material?
Thanks and God bless,
Farmer
