I was lucky enough to own one of Steve (IBEX)'s bows. A cocobolo TD recurve with carbon backed limbs...
I put it through a chrony...
I forget the exact numbers, and arrow weight, but it was the fastest bow through a chrony that I had ever witnessed, and I have put a bunch of top bows through the same test.. MY Winex carbon limbed DAS bow is faster, but I am using light arrows with it...
His bow was not just fast, but a great looker, and a fine hunting bow as well.
I buy and sell a ton of bows..
The first question I generally get is "..how fast is it..", so I KNOW it matters to most..lol
I know Steve to be a hunter first..
The speed bow thing is just for giggles..
I am glad to see it...
Glad to see anybody pushing the envelope in bow delelopment...
Just as car racing improves street automobiles, I feel this can lead to improved bow design.
Keep up the good work guys..
