Am interested in building horn bellied (gemsbock) reflexed working handle thin stiff outer limb osage (and sinew backed center) and need feedback on thickness of horn for a 48 to 50 # version.

I am working on some hornbelly stuff when I have time and I'm having to wing it for now but I'm trying to figure out as much as I can.  The hard part is having to roll out the horns.  Imagine making your own fiberglass.  Its been very time consuming so far.

go with 3-4 mm horn and same ammount of wood and the sinew of about 2.5 to 3 mm and you should be there.
