I have recently aquired a used bamboo backed hickory long bow that seems to have a slightly stiff upper limb. Not the optimal positive tiller that I am used to. I am wondering how this might effect arrow flight, bow life, hand shock etc... if I would leave this bow as is. I have cabinet scraper tillered a long bow in the past and am wondering if it would be to late to take a little wood off this limb to achieve positive tiller. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
