Sealing oily wood need help

Hey I am haveing a problem with sealing cocobola. I used super glue to seal it first and when I shoot it with spar urithan it pealed and flaked off.
Are they not compatable or what?
I used the cheap super glue could that be the problam.

You may need several coats. I would just buy a can of Minwax lacquer, no superglue required.

i agree deft laquer or minwax. then spray it with spar if you want.
