what kind of bow will this be?

this is the core for a bow I started,the core is maple and the tips are mulberry.

Horse bow? or Manchurian recurve?  does it have glass or bone in it?  I am interested in seeing this one come out.  i have wanted to build one.
does everyone else look up when someone yells "DUCK!!"?

This one is going to be a turkish hornbow with waterbuff horn and sinew,long long term project.I should have the horn ready to go on in a couple of days and then 3 weeks after that sinew.

PJ, are the siyahs made with the mulberry I sent you? Will you post a close up of the syiahs?

yup pat i am sending you a core with some laminated sahiyas and the core is all mulberry.Get some bamboo tempered for the belly and sinew for the back,I should have it in the mail in 4-5 days.

clearly turkish. typical reverse handle, kassan and siyahs.

Should look great when sinewed and horn-bellied... with the extreme reflex... :D   :D   :)

Cool!  I'll contact David Knight or James Parker for some tempered boo for the belly and I have a bunch of shredded sinew coming from a trade. Looks like I will be able to play with the thumb rings you sent me.  d;^)

I got the hide glue from a friend who was not using it.If you have a lot of short pieces of sinewyou could make some from the scraps,you will have to sneak out the mrs's crock pot,lol.
