I was wondering if using the loose fiberglass cloth we called it gorilla hair would be a good backing matrial ?

I tried it once and it did not hold up..i was a little suprised as it was a good glue up with smooth on..but it just cracked and popped off in a place, so i took it off the back and havent tried it since.

if it separated from the limb it sounds like a bad glue-up.

I watched a guy on the video site use cloth. That particular bow broke. Don't know if it was the cause, but I would stay with what is tried and true.
