Latest Bow

60" recurve, 48@28.  Red elm riser with an endgrain maple and bloodwood mosaic and accents. My best work yet.

Very impressive!!  I'm about to start my first recurve.  Hope it turns out half as nice as yours.

Nice bow, it has a nice classy look to it! Are you bringing it to the January 23rd TBOF shoot?

Me and the bow will both be there Robert. BJ it is a binghams 60".  But it is my best guess at the alternate riser.  I only bought the standard riser plans from binghams. It did make the bow come in a little heavier than the standard at the same lam stack

jsweka, just take your time and do lots of dry runs and it will turn out fine.  This is my sixth bow and I learn a little something each time.  Take good notes

I think it might be what they call the alternate riser.  If you see some of the other 60" bingham designs alot of them have the rounded riser in the front.  I've done a couple with the round riser and I think I like this style much better.  Outstanding job with that mosaic!
