Wow! Beautiful bows! I feel out of place not having a bow made from osage.

Hey OsageTree, is the third one down on your first post a black snake/corn snake combo?  I have one of those.  The skins look exactly like yours.  Your bow looks much better than mine though.

Scrub-buck my ear! That is a sweet buck in the bed of your tuck! By the way, I like your bow above too!!!

That bow of mine you ask of is called "Two Snakes". Black snake on one limb and common water snake on the other limb.

Warning: water snakes have stinky glands and skin. Once dry they are fine.

Back in 2007 I did a thread called "Homegrown gear" here on the tradgang. You can still find it in the "Classic" section on the main forum page.

Here's a link:  http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=39;t=000219

Everyone liked it and some suggested I write an article or book. So,,, I did. Sent it to "Ohio Outdoor News" and they paid me to publish it.  First time I ever got paid to hunt! Below is the article but, don't know if you can read it on here or not. Small font once it was scanned.
