soft brain tan deer hide usages

Hey all,
I have some soft brain tan deer leather. I was wondering how it would hold up as a limb tip protector for my new longbow, that would be my Southern Draw 43#@28, lol I am pretty darned proud of it. Also would the soft leather be appropriate for use in making a Arm Guard?
Let me know your Thoughts,
Brian Gillispie

Hey Brian,
I think as a tip protector it should work fine,
as an arm guard, I guess some protection is better then none. JMHO
