Happy Birthday Ken, and some great pictures. I am about to hit that 69 mark and still love to hunt and shoot the old bows as much as possible. Wish that I had taken more photos from back when?? Look forward to some of your up-coming photos for a lot more years.

great pic and Happy B-day.
“instinctive archery” is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.

Thanks to everyone for making my 69th birthday special. This summer I will be married to the same woman 49 years. I took my Ben Pearson recurve 70# on our 1st honeymoon with us to Colorado. My wife's name is Phyllis Ann.   Thanks to everyone who set up this web site (and all users) which is going down in History as one of the most educational Tradional Archery dialogue to unite Tradional shooters. Ken belated birthday greetings!!! Just checked out this thread today, very cool pictures    Glad to hear you are still actively shooting and hunting!!!! You are setting a good example for us youngsters!!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.
