I got a package in the mail today and Was like a kid in a candy store.  I anxiously looked at the label and it came from KennyM.  I tore into it and found the bow materials for my next bow.  Kenny the curls look stunning.

Hopefully I'll get my swap bow soon...

Need to get some updates on progress guys. I've had a few PMs asking what is going on.

The deadline is the week of July 4th.

I'm sure everybody has had stuff going on and we still have plenty of time but we need some updates.

I got my turkey, so after the bow I go gonna work on it a little bit this weekend.

I am working on mine. I'm waiting to post pix when I have a little more to show.

It is 69" BBO with layers of zebra, osage, b.walnut and then another layer of osage in the handle. It will have elk antler tip overlays.

I am shaping up the bow now and will start tillering after it has been in the hot box for a few days. It has been laying out for a few weeks and I want to be sure it hasn't picked up much moisture.

I'm a little anxious also, but we have over two more months!

P.S. I love the new gremlins!   :archer2:

Got both limbs on mine heated and bent into shape.  Now it'll sit for a week to rehydrate.  Not very interesting, but it's getting done nonetheless.

I have been working on mine guys.  I have several pics and will try to get some posted this week.

I started two staves.  You know, just in case one blows.  One is black locust and the other is osage.  I really hope the black locust comes in at weight.

I'll let you guys decide which one to trade.

Hey John,

Looks good. Both limbs look a little stiff mid limb ot the left limb especially, but right in line for 24" of draw. Is the lower limb on the left?
