John,

What are you looking for with weight and where are you at now? I always like when you draw the lines in, great learning tool.

I'm looking for mid 50s at 27".

Here it is after 10 scrapes at the marked locations.

Better at the handle but midlimb on the right (upper) needs a touch.

Here it is after 10 scrapes there.  Getting closer but the left midlimb needs a hair.

That's pretty good for on the tree.  Drawing 55# at 26".  After shooting her in and finish I should hit weight.

Here she is drawn by hand.  I think she bends too much at the handle on the lower limb.  Maybe not though.  Whaddya think?

Here she is straight off the string.  Holding pretty straight.

She looking pretty good to me John. I do see under the handle a bit more bend. It doesn't show up on the tree.   What's the length?  60"?

She's 63" total, 61-1/2" NTN.  I think I'm going to shoot her a little bit tonight and then see how she feels.

I'm in the shop every Saturday for sure for a couple hours.  Southside of Indy.  All relatively normal people are welcome, even you Bona  :)   I'm seriously pondering approaching the Woodcraft Store on the NE side about offering a selfbow class.  It's basically in the parking lot of my new work location.  Not great for the budget, huh?

Ahhh, ranger3! Were you in cahoots with John to drag some info out of us?! You might know it would be me to weaken!

John, does that mean I'm sub-relatively normal? I've always thought so, just need some confirmation on that.    (not that funny, just wanted to use the new gremlin).

Very nice tradbower!
