If it were me, I'd get that top limb bending more from midlimb out.  that's a sure source of handshock.  I'm a big fan of flipped tips too.  If fo no other reason than they look cool.

Coming along nicely. I agree with John about the top limb and flipped tips. Reducing those tips to 3/8" or less after flipping them will help reduce the shock too.

Put the long string on it yesterday. I've got quite a ways to go yet. 67" ntn. 1 7/8" at fades to 1/2" tips. Any input on my tiller thus far is greatly appreciated!!!

With that much bend already it is time for a low brace. Don't pull it any farther on the long string.  If you try to go farther with the long string you will have problems later. The right limb looks pretty good. The left limb looks stiff at mid limb and near the fades.

Those fades are scary abrupt.  They're alright for the moment, but when the near-fade wood starts to move you may run into problems.  It looks like there's a pronounced taper that starts about 3"out from the point where the riser jumps in.  I'd work that section into a smooth transition with the fades.

Done some work on my bow today.

 thinned the boo down and cleaned everything up in the planer.
 
 Going for 62" boo backed jatoba. a 10" power lam 4" handle and 6-7" out to the fades. Mild reflex.

I'm getting close on my bow. Shaped the handle today, rounded all corners and worked on the bend a bit more. I'm gonna rawhide back this bow because of the crooks, twists and knots. A few timber rattler skins and bison horn overlays should set her off nicely. Haven't decided on the handle wrap yet.
  After I get the rawhide down and cured I will put a hundred or so arrows through her. If everything works out well I'll get the finish on her and send her off.

Worked on the tiller a little and got it bending better. I decided to go ahead and flip the tips. I am hesitant to show pics of how I do things . If you follow me in the bow building adventure you may get led to places you don't need to go.  Per Berts request though here are some pics of how I flip the tips on a bow. It worked on the first one I tried and the others as well so I haven't changed the way I do it. Ya'll gotta promise not to laugh.

I simply put the bow behind 1 nail and in front of the piece of wood held by the other nail
 
I heat the tip as I keep pressure on the bow. As it starts to bend I keep going till I reach the point I can insert the other nail to hold the bow in position
 
 
I let the bow set till it is cool and flip it around and flip the other one

Laugh?  Heck no!  That's a great jig.  I used to do almost the same thing when I would bend my snowshoe and landing net frames.  Looking good!

Here is where I am at this point. If you remember, here is where she was a few months ago...

  Because of the "character" of this bow I decided a rawhide backing was in order. I accomplished that today and here is where she sits now. When the rawhide is cured I'll blend it in with the rest of the bow and shoot a few volleys through her.
