Shipped my bow out today on it's way to.....?  Hope the recipient likes it.  Thanks again, Chris, for putting this together.  It's been fun.  I look forward to the next one.

I took my trade bow to the NC Trad Bow Championships near Hickory, NC this past weekend and shot the "B" coarse with her. She shoots well(better than me!) with a bit of a thump but I will narrow the tips a bit more then get down to adding the skins and dressing her up. Hopefully in the next few weeks I will be able to get her into the mail!
I'll post more pics when she's dressed. She is too shy to be exposed in her present condition! d;^)

Sound great Pat.

I got mine bending today about 7 or 8 inches. I guess it's time for the short string.

I'll brace it about 3" and start there. This BB Jatoba looks like it is gonna be a sweet bow. I just might suprise myself.

I built a tiller tree with the pulley on it and it's great. Also got me one of those tillering gizmos of Eric K.'s design and it has become my favorite tool in a matter of an hour or so.

I need to get my butt to taking some pics since I got my camera problem remedied. I just can't get away from scraping and bending long enough LOL.

I put the skins on her today. These skins are a different than what I had planned and a first for me. Stay tuned for further updates. d;^)

I'm taking my trade bow to Cloverdale to shoot it in and pick some snakeskins out from Yancey, assuming he's there.  After I put them on, it's on it's way to ???

I got my trade bow in the mail yesterday. Awesome. Thank you Ted! Unfortunately I can't shoot it yet because of thunderstorms but I can't wait.
mine received it's last coat of poly last night. I will put on a handle wrap and send her on the way. This has been great and I can't wait til the next one.

I started adding Tru-Oil last night so it won't be long before her debut.

haha pat that looks like either carp skins or gaboon viper from the "teaser" im guessing carp though as gaboon viper would be crazy expensive and hard to find.

Finally got some pics guys. I need some seasoned eyes to critique my tiller. I am at 55# at 28" right now. I think it looks pretty good considering this only my third bow but I"m not a seasoned vet like some of you fellers.

Lower limb is 1.5" shorter than top limb.

 Braced at about 6"

 Drawn to 28"

unstrung (I started out with about 3" reflex and ended up with about 1" sting follow)

 Poor it on me guys

Hmmm...it's been a week to the day that my trade bow was confirmed as delivered to its recipient and still no post from him saying he go it.
