It's a boo backed Jatoba 62.5 tip to tip.

I think she's a little light so I think I'm gonna pike it an inch on both ends and hopefully gain about 5# or so. She draws to 28". I hope to send it out next week.

I will post finished specs with pics when she's ready to go. It's been fun building it and I hate tto let it go but I've got some more boo and jatoba LOL.

Looks really nice, Kris! But, I'd really advise leaving it as is.  The tiller is nice, especially on an asymmetrical bow.  Further, you're approaching (or are right at) 90 degrees on the string angle at the tips.  Knock another 2" off that bow and it'll probably stack horribly.  Call it good.  How much under weight are you?  Remember, there were no guarantees stipulated in this trade, so if you miss the weight a bit, no harm.  Again, looks really nice.

I came in about 4# under weight. I don't know why you can't see my pics Pat.

I did develope a bit of a problem and thanks to 4est post on a patch I think it will be fine. It fretted about 3" from the fade on the bottom limb. It is a very small one but it is there none the less. If It was my bow I would just leave it but I would really like for this thing to survive for years to come. So I am gonna patch it.

I will post mor pics later. By the way this thing shoots great and has no handshock. I really suprised myself with it for sure. All that is left is to patch the fret and finish and off she goes.

Now I can see them. Very nice. How high is the brace. Looks a little high but it is a short bow so maybe that's it.

I would think 6.5 is probably good for that bow.

Clock it counting down to the 4th! I gotta get my back up finished but it will be hotter than *#!! in the shop this weekend!

Just applied the skins to my trade bow. My wife is away for the day and took our camera with her. I will post some pics later.

It's at 6.5 and seems to shoot best there Pat. I will post some pics of the spot I think needs patched and you guys can tell me what you think.

Joe, I would ship the bow you finished if all else fails on your backup. My bow came in about 4# under the light side and it's going in the mail bud.

My bow went out this morning, USPS, Priority mail so she should be at her new home by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Please let me know when she gets there so I can stop worrying! d;^)
So, when you get home from work and there is a 70"x4" PVC tube on your porch you will know it got there OK!

Oh man, that is worse than xmas when I was a young boy. I see all these wonderful bows here and I know one of them will be mine soon. Everyday when I come home from work I'm all tense if there's a long parcel in front of the door. And it's gettin' worse everyday...

I always use USPS and ship priority mail with delivery confirmation. Never had a problem and with delivery confirmation you can track the package.
