The strung tiller looks real nice Bowur.  Cool bow.

Here are the finished pics of my bow.  I hope xxx  xxxxxxx likes it.

Full draw

Here it is with the lower limb overlaid on the upper.  I used the fulcrum principle Torges talks about in his Balance article from a few years ago.

Here is the belly.  A black tip and center fading into natural osage yellow.  Black stain or dye is comprised mostly of blue color so you will detect a green tint as it mixes with the yellow.  I like that but it fades over time as the osage darkens.

And here is the back.  I stained it black for the whole length.  I think it looks cool.

Good looking bows everone. It looks like everone put forth there best effort.

I have watched "Boswell" build his and it has to be one of his best bows yet.

This has been fun watching all the bows being made and seeing the different designs. I'm already looking forward to the next trade.

Well if the finish on my grip dries Two Snakes will go in the mail tomorrow.
Did a hemp cord grip with a massey finish.  (borrowed the idea and instructions from PatB) Hope you don't mind Pat. Went for a floppy rest.
I was getting to the bottom of the weight request so it isn't sanded as fine as I would like but it's pretty good.

These pics were before the tru oil and grip

This thing is a real shooter. I hope the new owner is happy. I tell ya I really hate to let this one go but I already got another one in the works. Keep your eyes on your door steps cause Two Snakes may show up there. This has been really fun. I'm looking forward to the next swap.

I was unable to ship mine today. The Post Offices around here closed for the holiday. On the USPS website it lists the holiday as the 5th. Around here they are taking the 3rd and 5th. I'll get it out on Tuesday if work permits.

I plan to send mine out on Monday. I had a string made but messed up making a 58" string instead of a 55" string.

Do you guys put a coat of Tru oil over the writing?
