Now it's time to work on the twists. For this I use wedges along with the clamps to direct the twist the other way
you can see the clamps where they need to be to correct the twist and a wedge to assist.
This is what the limb looked like to start with. You can see where I oiled the limb near the fade area.
I'll post pics of the results tomorrow when it comes out of the clamps.
This is a view of the other limb before any manipulation. It has a nice twist also. This limb also has some pronounced knots on the back that will have to be dealt with as I clamp and heat it. More wedges and a few spacers along with the clamps will help with this limb.
