how to build a one peice recurve
« on: March 01, 2010, 09:50:00 PM »
I was really interested in getting some info on building a one peice recurve bow with laminations and fiberglass. I wanted to know where i could find a good detailed plan for making this. Like which lamination thicknes to use and everything. I seen binghams sells plans but are there any build alongs with this info in there. Would like to build some bows like the ones i've seen in here i'm working on some ipe longbows but want to try some of the recurves soon.

I have built 4 binghams 58" recurves, I had no wood working experiance other than building wood decks and rough framing houses 25 years ago. I purchased the binghams plans, tapes and form kit. I build my forms with router like shown on the kennyscustomarchery.com web site.

I would just take a spin through the old threads on this sitem may be do a search.  Additionally, there are some great build alongs in the "build along" section of Tradgang as well.
