Let me see if I can get you a little farther down the path.
The total thickness of the limb in Binghams catalog for a 1 3/4 58" take down recurve at 55# is .232" for a 2" wide limb the same 55# bow limb would be .225"
That being said, if you deduct .40 for a belly and .40 for the back (fiberglass). The remainder .152 and .145 are for all your wood laminations front and back and possibly a tapered lam or reverse tapered lamination.
It is also noted that these thickness are measured at the thickest point with out the wedge.
