Kris, I voted for having this trade annually. We have enough builders here so even if everyone doesn't participate each year we should have a good turn out. Plus, once others see the quality of the work coming from this trade they will be champing at the bit to participate next year.

Kris, I also voted for annually. Mostly because you get into hunting season and the holidays,etc...just my thoughts.

I didn't enter this year, so I didn't vote. I'd like to be included when ya'll do it again, though. But if I could vote, I'd vote for once a year.

my advice would be to get through this one first, but I voted for annually.

Annually. This time of year is good too with hunting season's mostly over and not as much going on.

I went with the annually, like Pat said there are plenty of builders who want to participate and new builders will join. This way if you can only do once every 2 years there will be others to take your place.

Really the only reason I said Bi-Anually is because I figured it was feasible but everybody else wants it anunual so far.

Looks like it may be annually!

When I first had this Idea I really didn't think there would be that much interest but it's turned out I was wrong. I shouldv'e known better knowing the character of folks here on the Gang.

I had alot of fun building my bow for swap. Whoever gets it please let us know to keep the fun going. Myself and my neighbor are watching the post here like hawks to hear the recipients comments. It reminds us of christmas when you get your kids cool gifts.  Mark

I think weekly would be awesome. Just kidding, I would love to participate in the next one. But, I have only built 7/8 of a bow so far.  I don't feel it would be fair to trade with some of the masters on here.  It might be fun to set up a trade for beginners to bow building and have some of the masters assist through build alongs. I recently made a 7/8 of a bow that is about 24 hrs away from shooting with the help and advice of the masters on this site and would love to do a trade my next bow with someone who was going through the same process.

I absolutely agree with you guys on doing this every year. Those who don't want to participate every year just can skip every second. I haven't started yet but it's great fun to watch how all the different types of bows progress. Hope I can finish the one I'm working on right now in a week or two, then I can start with my trade bow. I have the lams and all the other stuff already for quite a while and can't wait to start the action and see it happen...

I really like osage very much but we don't have it here, so I ordered some from Kenny. Thanks again Kenny for those fantastic lams.

Swissbow those are some good looking lams, I really like the first and third pair and the Osage looks great too.

Does bi annual mean twice a year or every two years?

I've followed this thread with interest but didn't feel comfortable in my limited ability.  I would like to participate at a later date and would vote for annually.
