90" of my riser shaping is done on this little sucker.  Probably the best bow making tool I have.

Im the same as Brad on this.  about 15 min and its roughed in and ready for some minor file work and orbital sander.

canadabowyer, got the pics. thats what i was looiking for. but i want to make one a little smaller. dont want to convert my 6x80 sander.  would like to do it with a 4x36 or a 6x48.  you think that could be done?

I don't know why not. Just scale down everything.If you have a machine shop nearby just run it by them. I just explaned it to my local machinist and he did the rest. Bob

love that ridgid sander, i used one a couple years ago to make some fancy laminated bows.  nowadays i just use a hatchet, a rasp, and a knife
