bow blanks/osage?

Has anyone ever got a bow blank from Gary Davis? How was it, good, bad, any input. Thinking about going that route.  thanks ron w

Your a mad man Ron!  :)  I think it's time for you to build one from scratch.  Seeing how you finish those blanks, I think it's time.  Plenty of help on this here board if you run into trouble.

Gary's blanks will be perfect.  One solid ring, pefectly aligned limbs, and ready to tiller.  Gary guarantees the blank AND the bow you make from it.

Gary is a friend of mine and is going to get most of the blame for getting me into bow making.
His blanks are very good and as said above,Guarenteed. He will help you pick the one you want or need, perfect to character. You will be pleased I'm sure.

Well I got a Gary Davis bow blank from the classifieds and it came in the mail today. It looks really good, a bit of reflex already in and really clean,no knots or crazy stuff. It should be a great project. Turkey hunting this weekend ,but can start on it next week. It's 68"+ long and 1 9/16 at the widest point,has 55# on the side. Going to try to hit 50# @ 29",with that length I should be in good shape.
