I know where a hedge row is down free to the taking
« on: May 16, 2010, 11:48:00 AM »
I have the same request on powwow, and it was suggested that I also put it under here. (under osage subjest title)
Any one near the JC or manhattan KS area I know where a lot of big old hedge has been cut. I really don't know how to tell good from bad. I would share the place for the knowledge of if any is good or bad. It will go for someone will cut it up as fire wood. if they have not started. Unfortunetly I cant get to it before next weekend but I will ride by it every day. I may stop and get some pics but I will not beable to post until next weekend. It is a long hedge row that has been cut. just let me know. there should be more than plenty for a few people.

I would hate to see all the bow wood go for fire wood. You know there's got to be some bows in there somewhere. Is wish I were close enough to be of use. Maybe someone here will be.

There are some 18" stumps along this section. I seen some straight stuff that was in the 4" range.
