when applying snakeskins to a bow, you soak the skins to make them pliable to form to the bow, and you can use titebond3 for this. ive found when gluing snakeskins to other things that when you wet them first the wet skins allows the titebond to mix with the water and soak into the skins, making a better bond. id guess that for rawhide you can do the same, as long as you size the bows back with titebond first, and make sure theres not too much excess water in the rawhide.
